At Our Space, we are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and confidential environment for individuals seeking mental health and peer support services. As a participant in Our Space programs, you have important rights regarding your care, privacy, and personal information.

Your Rights as a Client
You have the right to:

Be treated with dignity and respect, free from discrimination or harassment.

Receive services in a safe and supportive environment.

Have your cultural, spiritual, and personal values recognized and respected.

Be informed about your care, including available services, treatment options, and any associated risks.

Participate in decisions about your care and have your voice heard in developing your support plan.

Request and receive an explanation of any fees or financial obligations related to services.

Express concerns, file a complaint, or appeal decisions without fear of retaliation.

Access and review your records, within legal and ethical guidelines.
Confidentiality & Privacy
We are committed to maintaining your privacy and confidentiality. Any information you share with Our Space will be protected in accordance with state and federal laws.
Your information will only be shared with your written consent or under specific legal circumstances, such as:

When required by law (e.g., reporting abuse or threats of harm).

If a medical emergency requires sharing information to protect your safety or the safety of others.
